Claymore eye animation by DennyLindberg Claymore eye animation by DennyLindberg
I finished watching Claymore yesterday and I wanted to test if I could reproduce the eye transformation from the series. I think it turned out pretty decent!

Made with Synfig.

Could you give an example of what you mean? I'm interpreting your question as several probable and different things at the same time. :)

I guess I wanna know like after you've done all the frames and what not, can the finished product run as smoothly as if it were done in flash? I'm sorry i didn't mean to say photoshop...

Run as smoothly as in Flash? Are you talking about tweening and such? Framerate? My animation above is a GIF-animation and has its limits but on export you can choose any framerate you like.

just wanted to know your thoughts about the synfig program im looking into it right now. You did an amazing job with this! i just wanted to know if this program will be what im looking for. i currently animate every thing i do by hand frame, by frame in photoshop. is synfig a good animation frogram where i can use layers over top of eachother and stuff? do you think i could make a decent comic traler with it?

Synfig is quite powerful with layer effects and such, don't expect it to work like photoshop though, it handles things very different. If you're used to animating things frame by frame you could also look at using After Effects.

Good luck!
